Codex and vibe coding for office work

When the same work repeats across files, it helps to spell out the process. Practise using Codex for files, spreadsheets and website changes, checking both the result and the scope of changes.

What will we
work through?

We choose exercises relevant to your work. For each task, we define the goal, provide the context and review the result.

  1. Prepare the files and brief

Define source files, outputs, boundaries and checkpoints. Practise providing enough context before changes begin.

  2. Process spreadsheets or product data

Combine or organise data. In an online shop example, prepare an import file and check columns, identifiers and missing values.

  3. Make a focused website change

Try changing a content block, text or project file. Specify exactly which behaviour or result needs to change.

  4. Review the work

Compare the output with the source and read the change summary. Decide which checks are needed before allowing the next step.

Learning outcomes

What can you take back to work?

  1. You can describe a file-based task with inputs, outputs and constraints.
  2. You can guide Codex in stages and track which files and data it changes.
  3. You can compare outputs with source data and repeat the same checks for recurring work.

Preparation and format

Start with
your task.

Choose one recurring file task and describe the desired output. Use copies or sample data for practice; we agree on access and workstation setup beforehand.

I demonstrate the approach, then participants try it themselves. We review the results together and refine the instructions where the response or solution needs improvement. We agree on tools and accounts before training.

Frequently asked questions

Before we begin.

Answers to help us agree on the right content and format for your team.

Does this require coding skills?

Not in the introductory format. We practise describing work and checking results. More complex tasks also require technical checks.

Can we prepare an online shop import file?

Yes, we can practise organising product data and preparing it for import. Direct upload depends on your shop system, access and agreed scope.

How does this differ from office-work training?

The office-work topic focuses on individual emails, documents and summaries. The Codex topic focuses on files, projects and recurring changes.

Is training on site or online?

Both are possible. We choose the format around the participants, tasks and practical work required. Duration and schedule are agreed in the proposal.

How is the training priced?

The price depends on content, scope, participant numbers and format. Describe your needs and you will receive a specific programme and proposal before deciding.
